Background: 27 years surviving paralysis
1996: founder and CEO Leaman had a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed from the neck down.
2008: despite this disadvantage he went on to earn a Ph.D. in astrophysics from UC Berkeley.
2010: Dr. Leaman concluded a 12 year NASA affiliation, from summer intern to post-doc at the Ames Research Center.
2011: Dr. Leaman pivoted to comput

We are focused on improving the quality of life of people dealing with significant disadvantages.
We promote independent living and universal access. Current mission is the integration of RV and IPW. We plan to tour the Universities around the nation.
Any funds raised will be split into 2 groups at a 3:1 ratio.

1. Intelligent Power Wheelchair (IPW) R&D, including student internships, and travel related to IPW public demos. This includes loan payments for the Independent Living Recreational Vehicle (ILRV). The IPW will be used to film a unique documentary from the perspective of a power wheelchair user.
2. Support for business operations including this website, email, and a wheelchair accessible van.
